Beekeeping Experience - 90 mins

Come to our apiary in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, not far from Skipton - and discover the amazing world of the honeybee.

Get suited up and we’ll show you inside a working bee hive with over 50,000 live bee’s. We’ll explain how the colony works and how bees make honey. We’ll help you find the queen and how to use a smoker too.

Honeybees are fascinating and this session is a fun way to learn more about them.

You’ll make some good memories, get some great pictures, and come away with a jar of pure Yorkshire Herd & Hive honey.

Please note:

This course involves live bees. We do our best to ensure you won't get stung but, this course is not for you if you know that you have a severe allergic reaction to stings.

Our apiary is in a beautiful rural location. Be prepared to walk a short distance to reach it - over open fields

This is a 90 minute experience, A £20 non refundable deposit per person is to be paid on our website, The remaining £40 balance per person will be taken upon confirmation of time/date

This is a 12 month voucher, experiences can only be run between 1st May and 31st September

This experience is weather dependant. In the event that an experience is cancelled due to weather, we will rearrange a date. The £20 deposit is non-refundable. 

Under 18's must have a responsible adult present at all times.
